Tony Gomez is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Lansight Technology. Since co-founding Lansight Mr. Gomez has worked to develop the Firm’s cloud service offerings and to augment operations.
Prior to co-founding Lansight, Mr. Gomez was Director of Technology at Shula’s Steak Houses, LLP a chain of over 25 upscale steakhouses across the United States. At Shula’s he played a key role related to technology vision, IT management and IT project planning and execution. He was responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective running of the IT infrastructure, aligning IT capabilities with Shula’s objectives and long-term corporate strategy; and leading the internal IT team in maintaining day-to-day IT operations.
Before working at Shula’s, Mr. Gomez was an Engineer in the Professional Services and Quality Assurance Groups (QA) at Aspect Software, Inc. At Aspect, Mr. Gomez had a wide range of responsibilities including designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages. He led a team of QA Engineers in maintaining and executing tests in a computer lab designed to mimic client real world environments.
Mr. Gomez currently serves as an Associate Director of the Cuban American National Foundation, a non-profit institution dedicated to advancing freedom and democracy in Cuba.
